A little bit of BAJA History:
While the appeal for our tours is to ride the trails that the world famous off-road race (the Baja 1000) uses, these trails are also some of the same routes the notorious Poncho Villa and his outlaws rode on horse back over one hundred years ago! No one is more synonymous with the wild side of Mexico than Poncho Villa. He had gathered around him a horde of hungry, lazy, and desperate men. Many interestingly enough were white men from the north (Norte-Americano). He had formed bands large enough to overrun the biggest mines and ranches in northern Baja & Mexico.
